How common is Bowel Cancer in the UK?

Bowel Cancer is the 4th Biggest Cancer in the UK but the 2nd biggest killer.

There`s about 42000 new Bowel Cancer diagnosis per year and about 16000 deaths per year.

Currently there`s about 45000 Covid19 Deaths in the UK to compare and illustrate the figures.

The good news is that most people survive the disease but only if spotted by doctors early enough. Stage 1 Bowel Cancer(confined within the bowel) there is a 95% 5 year survival rate and with Stage 4 Bowel Cancer (Spread outside Bowels) there a miserable 5% 5 year survival rate.

Screen early, don`t leave it too late.
