Currently the NHS Bowel screening with  FIT testing at 60yrs+ and there are no stool DNA testing currently available in the UK.

Sample is collected by DHL Medical Express and shipped to our labs in Denmark. Custom clearance will take 24hrs and sample be processed by lab in 7 days.  All shipping costs included.

We accept COLOTECT™ packages back for a full refund  if it is returned within 14 days in an unused/undamaged condition. We cannot accept packages that has been damaged or used. 

The kit must be used within 3 months otherwise stability and quality of the kit cannot be gauranteed and therefore void and cannot be refunded.

COLOTECT™ can be claimed back from health insurance as a FIT bowel cancer screening test (i.e BUPA, Geo Blue etc)

Faecal Immunochemical Test (FIT) detects hidden blood in the stool which may indicate bowel cancer and can also be from more benign causes like Piles

ADHFE1- The hypermethylation of Alcohol dehydrogenase iron containing 1 (ADHFE1) was recently reported to be associated with colorectal cancer (CRC)

OPLAH- OPLAH cg26256223 hypermethylation is associated with reduced gene expression in the CRC.

 

Mutated KRAS gene in the stool that is found in Bowel cancer and Bowel polyps and is related to poor survival and increased tumour aggressiveness                                             

 

Mutated BRAF gene in the stool that is found in Bowel cancer and Bowel polyps and is related to poor survival ​           

 

​Quantification of human (h)DNA determines the relative amounts of human DNA in the stool. Increased concentrations of human DNA in stool samples are found in Bowel cancer samples.
