The suitability questionnaire on this site is answered entirely in your browser. Your answers are not transmitted to us and are not stored.
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with insurers or employers. We will not disclose your result to your own GP unless you ask us to, or unless we are required to.
Samples and the accompanying details are sent to Germany for analysis. Germany is covered by UK adequacy regulations, which means your information carries the same protection there as it does here. Where any supplier is outside the UK and not covered by adequacy regulations, we use the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
We keep health records, including results and clinical correspondence, for eight years from the date of the result, in line with accepted retention practice for adult health records. Order and accounting records are kept for six years plus the current financial year, as tax law requires. Marketing consents are kept until you withdraw them. After that, records are securely destroyed.
You have the right to ask for a copy of your data, to have inaccurate data corrected, to ask for deletion, to object to or restrict certain processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent where we rely on it. We will respond within one month.
Deletion is not always possible. Where we are required to retain a health record or an accounting record for a set period, we will tell you and explain why.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, tell us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or on 0303 123 1113.
Results are issued as password-protected documents. Access to health information within our business is limited to the people who need it to do their job, all of whom are bound by a duty of confidentiality. Kits and return packaging carry no branding indicating their contents.

Our tests are sold to adults. We do not knowingly collect data about anyone under 18 other than where an adult has ordered a test for a person in their care and has told us so.
We may update this notice. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed. If a change materially affects how we use your information, we will tell you directly.
